An estimated 800 million children worldwide haveblood lead levels at or above 5 micrograms per deciliter. (μg/dL). This groundbreaking report from UNICEF and Pure Earth illuminates the horrendous—and entirely preventable—effects of lead-poisoning on generations of children in developing nations and offers important and practical solutions. Debbie worked closely with the authors to edit the report while Larry contributed several of the photographs. We are proud to lend our efforts to this very important cause. Take a look at the report here.
